Shake Up Your Routine

If you’d like a no-brainer way to get more exercise and movement, I highly recommend “the shaker.” Technically known as “whole body vibration,” it offers benefits of 30 minutes of exercise in just a 10-minute session! You can get one similar to mine HERE on Amazon. 

Part of the way it works is by increasing the amount of force exerted on your body and the amount of work your body must do to maintain its position. Your body adjusts to the forces by making tiny unconscious adjustments to your posture and muscles. The result? Better results in less time! 

What’s so great is that you can easily incorporate it into your day - once or multiple times! I like to hop on while I’m checking emails or social media for healthful multi-tasking! It’s great for “movement breaks” throughout the day so that you’re not sitting too much - which is bad for your health. It keeps your muscles stimulated and stimulates your lymphatic flow. You can also do exercises like squats or bicep curls while you stand on it to ramp up the intensity. Keep one in your office or your living room - or both!
