SHOW NOTES

  • (00:00) Intro

  • (01:03) Today’s topic: Being Spirit Led

    • My evolution with this podcast- it’s time to go “off script”!

  • (05:20) Mark 13:11 Do not be anxious beforehand what you are to say, but say whatever is given to you in that hour, for it is not you who speaks, but the Holy Spirit.

    • Are you Spirit Led in your schedule?

  • (08:20) We have a good, merciful God- not a scary one. He will make our crooked paths straight. (Isaiah 45:1-3)

  • (15:25) We have so many “obligations” as Christian women- how many of those are self-imposed? God is trying to tell you- you’re making things unnecessarily difficult for yourself. Talk with God and determine what is truly essential and what is just busy work that you can let go.

  • (17:41) When you’re being spirit led, you don’t have to grind because you are connected to the all-knowing God.

    • When we try to work in our own strength, we get messed up- we don’t have to make things so difficult!

    • The thing you have to grind to create is the thing you have to work to maintain- if it’s too much work to maintain, maybe it isn’t right for you.

  • (19:30) The power of saying “no”

    • Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.

  • (23:40) Proverbs 16:3 Commit your work to the LORD and your plans will be established.

  • (25:21) Isaiah 50:4 The Lord God has given me the tongue of the learned, That I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary. He awakens me morning by morning, He awakens my ear to hear as the learned.

  • (26:35) Outro & Disclaimer
