186: Beauty, Brain & Bones with Leslie Bumpas, FNTP

So many women believe their beauty, brains and bones are destined to take a nosedive as they age. They’re convinced they’re genetically doomed to repeat family patterns of weight gain, hair loss, osteoporosis and other chronic diseases.
Leslie is on the podcast this week to tell us it’s NOT TRUE! We have so much power over the aging process. Being frumpy and dumpy does not have to be our fate.

Come listen as we talk about everything from fun beauty tools to functional blood tests and how modern advice to reduce cholesterol, take calcium and avoid hormones often works against us. It’s always a juicy convo when Leslie is on the pod!

(0:00) Intro

  • Hello my friend, welcome back to the club, how are you today?

  •  I have one of my favorite people here to talk about aging beautifully, confidently and gracefully. Her name is Leslie Bumpas, she is a FNTP with a slew of advanced trainings that include brain health, gut health and hormones. She’s really dialed in how to work with women to maximize health at any age, but she has a passion for changing the narrative that age-related decline is inevitable, because it’s not and Leslie is a gorgeous example of that. She’s beautiful inside and out; she has five young grandchildren and 2 bernadoodles she’s always chasing around, a handsome hubby she helps keep fit and a busy practice as a FNTP. I want to be Leslie when i grow up. She lives so vibrantly and joyfully and we’re going to talk about some key factors that play into that today.
