After seven years of sharing these Holiday Gift Idea blog posts, I thought it would be fun to put together my Gift Idea MVP list. These are my favorites from the previous years and all things I still use regularly. I’m also adding some fun new favorites that I tried and loved this year.

Be sure to listen to THIS PODCAST to hear more details about these products and how/why I use them. Happy shopping!

“The Shaker”

Technically it’s called a vibration plate but “the shaker” is so much more fun to say! We also call it Jiggling for Jesus in The Christian Health Club. This is such a fantastic, no-brainer way to add more movement to your daily routine. It’s good for bone density, lymphatic flow, increased circulation and boosting metabolism. One client lost inches off her belly JUST by adding this into her daily routine.  I’ve had several people comment how they get “hot and itchy” in some of their fat pockets (inner thigh, stomach, love handles) because this thing is stimulating those spots. You can work out on it but, honestly, I just stand on it for bonus movement while I’m doing things on my phone. It’s so easy to incorporate into your day. Put it in your office, in front of the tv, anywhere you could hop on for a quick 10 minute shake. It’s wonderful for elderly people who need help boosting circulation. They don’t have to stand on it if balance is of concern, they can sit in a chair with their legs on it to get movement flowing. See it here.

Treadmill Desk

I have my treadmill desk in my office and hop on during phone and zoom appointments or any time I can be moving instead of sitting. I walk imperceptibly slow, but it’s amazing how the time flies by and the steps add up. Great investment for your long term health! See more here.

*this goes in and out of stock a lot because it’s so popular.

Grounding Shoes

Grounding shoes are a way to ground when you can’t go barefoot!
You still have to be on a conductive surface such as soil, grass, or concrete (you can’t walk around your house in these and be grounded) but they come in super handy especially in the winter time.

Blue Blocker Glasses

The importance of light management is rooted in the way God created our body to utilize natural light.  Today's artificial light disrupts important physiology. Indoor lighting from LED light bulbs and screens have a heavy amount of blue which increases cortisol and blocks melatonin. Blue light blocking glasses can minimize the harmful effects and maintain our natural circadian rhythm and hormonal pattern.

I have the Viva Rays Clip’n’Go 3-in-1 Glasses (this link should automatically apply a 10% discount). My kids have blue light blockers from Boncharge (use TCN for discount code). Both Boncharge and Spectra479 have clip on options that go over your prescription glasses.

Viva Rays offers the option to integrate corrective lenses with their glasses.

Grain Mill

If you've been eyeing a grain mill since hearing my podcasts with Sue Becker,
I hope this Christmas brings you that joy, whether as a self-gift or a gift from someone special. Happy milling, and may your home be filled with the wholesome aroma of freshly baked bread!

Here's Sue Becker’s recipe for homemade bread:

  • 1.5 cup hot water

  • ⅓ c extra-virgin olive oil

  • ⅓ c honey

  • 1 egg

  • 1 T lecithin (OR 2 egg yolks)

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 4-4.5 cups flour (mill 3 cups of grain to get 4.5 cups flour)
    1 T yeast

I use a bread machine to make mine. Just add the ingredients to your bread machine, starting with the liquids, set it and, voila, you have fresh, steaming bread in 3 hours!

I’m obsessed with their coffee blends (like Peppermint Latte, Copaiba and Coffee) and the Holiday Blends Kit is perfect for the Christmas season!

🎁 More 2024 Favorite Gift Ideas 🎁

I love wearing the weighted vest while walking on my treadmill desk or working around the house. I recommend the 8lb or 12lb; I bought the 16lb and it’s too heavy!

Track how many steps you are actually walking. We’ve done some experiments in The Christian Health Club that showed iphone apps and Apple watches are not giving an accurate account compared to a pedometer.
This would make a great stocking stuffer and encourage kids, friends, family members or coworkers to get moving!

I LOVE this little red/infrared light box. Red and Infrared Light offer so many therapeutic benefits like supporting mitochondrial function, subcellular melatonin and your body’s water battery.  I use it directly on my tummy and my thyroid to promote extra health and healing. It would be great for sore muscles or you could simply put it on your desk or in a room to bring more of this important light into your space.
Other items I have from Boncharge include: blue blocker glasses, red light face wand, red light bullet light and radiation-free earphones. I love Boncharge

People report using this cream successfully for allergies, sinus infections, sore throat, reducing face puffiness, headaches, better sleep, reducing lymph node swelling, cellulite and tinnitus. This is by far one of Rowe Casa’s most popular products. I love to use it on my face and neck to support sinus and lymphatic drainage. It’s a thick, luxurious cream and a little goes a long way!

I found a dupe of my fave Lululemon Ebb to Street tank top that saves about $45 which is GREAT because I LIVE in these things. It’s my anchor tank.😆 I have 2 “real” ones and about 6 dupes in all different colors. So fun!

I hope you found something that interests you this holiday season. Happy gifting!

xoxo,
